Stock Pot Recovering Traces of Gold - VIDEO
Here is a new video that shows the inside of my stock pot. It uses the reactivity series of metals from the periodic table to "cement" out traces of
gold and platinum.
Gold and platinum in an acidic solution will trade places with copper metal, the precious metals will "cement" out of solution onto the copper metal
(coils of copper wire), and the copper will go into solution - they trade places.
The precious metals, in the form of a fine black powder, will fall to the bottom of the bucket and they can then be recovered and refined into pure
metal;
