I would like to get 1 gram of the subject compound (solid). The smallest amount I can find is 10g, which would last me several lifetimes. I can

Interesting. What is your intended use? Also, I have seen the EDTA sodium salt around and always wondered what it is used for... Could you enlighten
me?

Cool. I had never heard of complexometric titrations before.
I have all the EDTA I could possibly need -- the disodium salt not the tetra sodium salt. This sounds like an interesting process. If you locate
some then I will gladly buy some from you. If we had enough takers, perhaps you could buy the 10g and split it four or five ways.

Eriochrome can be found, too. But, as you say, in rather large lots (10-25g).

It doesn't seem that expensive. Even if 10 grams is more than you need, it might be worth blowing a few bucks on it.

@Loptr: Sorry for the slow response. I guess you've already discovered that EBT is an indicator used in complexometric titrations of many metals,
especially water hardness (Ca+Mg).
@j_sum1: With luck, I may have found 1-2g, which should serve my needs nicely. Where are you located (not in Kansas, USA, I presume)?
@O3: Thanks for the information. I was not aware of that indicator. I've only been out of the loop for 30 years or so, so I have much to
relearn and learn.
