electrochemistry

Hi,
A month ago I got myself a good electricity supplier that can give 0-10V-10A.
I started playing with plating copper on steel and now trying my luck with making PbO2 electrodes. I tried making GSLD electrodes but got fragile coating, I decided to try making PbO2 with electrolysis and use some binder to make electrode.

now for my question,
First I will be happy if some one can give me a good link for a site or a book that explain the basic of electrochemistry. (I know a little from school, but it's only in a nutshell)
second, how can I calculate the current density and voltage needed to invert a Pb electrode to PbO2?

Thanks.

There has been a lot of discussion here on making PbO2 electrodes, including Pb --> PbO2. Search around.

I didn't asked for spoon-feed, I don't want some one telling me "use 4.125 volts and 0.683 A/Cm^2..."
I asked for the science in it, I asked for the way to calculate it.
