I found some from a local supplier. sold in 4 oz increments, screw top vial sealed in argon. Triple distilled. $50 per 4oz

You can get plub drops that are filled with Hg. They don't have much but they are the best way legally/easiest way in the states.

Hello. Are you interested in testing the activity of gallium/aluminum eutectic alloy (mp 15˚C) or galinstan (mp ~ 0˚C) vs. mercury? If so, I live
in NYC and can supply you with some inexpensively (about $0.50 per gram) as long as you got back to me with your findings, regarding the differences.
Neither gallium nor indium has any significant toxicity. I also have a few tilt switches with mercury in them, but not much at all.
