naoh plus sulphur
i did a 16M to 18M of NaOH to react with Sulphur. A strong odor was released. I thouth when this compound harden, it might as well act like a brick
etc. anyone tried this?

I did do a reaction like this (though not intentionally).
When I performed it, a smelly odor was released as well and the result was rather goop-like.

Other members say that the result was likely sodium polysulfide.

took a bit to figure out what the hell naoh was, but then realized it was don improperly!
NaOH in chemistry this is important for the formulas to make sense and for us to understand what is being said.
Just a friendly tip for future posts to help your self and us
