A step by step of molecular distillation
This video demonstrates how I refine legal dispensary marijuanna extract. The two time lapse vids beneath it show the first and second fractions being
collected. Dispensary extract is 60-70% pure nominal as tested for retail. I refine to nearly absolute purity.

Awhile back I searched high and low for a lesson or demonstration of a molecular or short path distillation and all I can find are people doing
THC/hash oil. Not knocking it, but I'm surprised there's not one youtube video or something out there of any other compounds, or if they are they get
drowned out by the popularity of these perhaps.

Mostly drowned out, there was one from Nile red I think doing Phenol, but you tubes agenda is brain rotting it seems, intelligent critical thought is
a no no on you tube.

Umm. I've done a short path distillation of 2-Methyl-Diethyl-Tryptamine. My initial reaction product was hopeless crud. Nasty. Too dirty to
purify by other means.
High boiler, even hot (and it was damned hot), it flowed like syrup. Nice, clear, thick, bright orange syrup.
Not much to it really. Take a flask, , put on a distillation arm, plug the top, attach a vacuum adapter and a receiving flask. Flip on the vacuum,
turn up the heat, and pray.
No condenser, no cold finger, just un-insulated glassware, at ambient temperature. Primitive setup, utilizing regular glassware.
This Organic Synthesis Setup, approximates the simplicity of mine, though my set-up, did not include the possibility of taking fractions.
