Reliable ways to detonate secondaries
I have been having some issues lately detonating less sensitive secondary explosives like ANFO and AP/AN. I need a reliable way to detonate less
sensitive mixtures. If anyone could share a way to make blasting caps/ detonators that work reliably that would be great.

avoid AP/AN, too sensitive. Add few % of Al to your ANFO or use finer and better dried crystals. Or use 95/5 ETN/oil boosters.. like 30 g+
|

AP is what. Ammonium perchlorate or Acetone peroxide?

Hmmm, lets just say its doable with flash mixtures under the 1gram quantity. But lets keep in on the down low.... because this makes it a whole lot
easier for kewls.
Bert had a post about tanneite type mix being set off by .15mg of SADS.
And dont make Acetone peroxide, your not a Muslim guerrilla, or a FBI agent who is looking to know its properties so it can be later identified. AP
is just not EVER necessary... unless your hezbolla or something, than make pounds of it.
