Bismuth price

I saw some vendors selling 99.998~99.999% Bi as low as CNY75(US$11.75)/kg on a chinese site. Is Bi really that cheap?!

Chinese sites say lots of things. Was this for several metric tons, or a single kilo?

Believe when they send you the correct merchanise/quantity at the quoted price.

In USA, a single kilo from a retail supplier might cost over $24.00.

But if you buy 1,000lb., the price could be a little over $13.00/kg.

Rapopart’s Rules for critical commentary:

1. Attempt to re-express your target’s position so clearly, vividly and fairly that your target says: “Thanks, I wish I’d thought of putting it that way.”
2. List any points of agreement (especially if they are not matters of general or widespread agreement).
3. Mention anything you have learned from your target.
4. Only then are you permitted to say so much as a word of rebuttal or criticism.

Anatol Rapoport was a Russian-born American mathematical psychologist (1911-2007).

I've looked at Alibaba stuff before, if that's what your talking about. You scan long enough to see a nice price next to a low number mandatory minimum purchase, then you msg them for confirmation price to find out that low volume purchase = big unit price just like stated above. I've also never been quoted shipping under 99$ US for any metal... And I've enquired many times... So I'd save a LOT by buying locally unless ordering a ton, literally.

I saw CNY75(US$11.75)/kg is the price for 1kg, not bulk orders
