Now could you give us a list of all the salts whose names are anagrams of the names of 19th century Europeans rulers?

Can you please stop starting threads like this? This seems highly unnecessary and I'm going to detritus it if you can't provide a really good explanation for why I shouldn't.

Sounds like a job for the wiki.

I like the idea of aggregating them.

I'm trying to understand the point of this thread... how is this information at all useful... for example, can you actually make ammonium perborate with ammonium salts and sodium perborate?

Seeing how the solubility of sodium perborate tetrahydrate is 21.5 g/L and the solubility of anhydrous ammonium perborate is 15.5 g/L, mixing stoichiometric solutions of sodium perborate and an ammonium salt will not produce a precipitate. If you use large excess of ammonium salt, I am guessing you might get a precipitate, but how is this chart in any way helpful?

Ammonium is a tricky ion unlike sodium athough it is grouped with the alkali metals such as a mercury amalgam is possible with ammonium ion
This ion is important in complexes the fact it makes Some complex salts are stable and some are not
Stability of the ions
Such as
Ammonium permanganate
And diamine zinc permanganate

Ammonium perchlorate
Tetramine copper perchlorate

Probally not possable
Ammonium ferrate
Diamine zinc ferrate

The stable ammonium compounds form complexes

Are you completely sure that it is impossible to prepare crystalline ammonium zincate?

There is definitely no such thing as ammonium ferrate. Ferrate is too strong an oxidizer, ammonium reduces it readily and is oxidized to nitrate. Therefore you cannot make it the wet way. And the dry and hot way of making ferrates requires oxides and peroxides, and ammonium forms no such compounds.

More like help find info on ammonium salts and discuss why some are possible and why
Ammonium ferrate doesn't exist yet ammonium permanganate does

I could not find info on ammonium chlorite
Reaction of ammonium sulfate and calcium chlorite

Bannana potato Chemistry ammonia large amazing leaf fractal.
Super salt credible toe poke small orange rhino.

It makes as much sense as that.

If you were in any way interested in ammonium salts, you'd have tried to make one.

Just One, but that isn't the case.

Ammonium chlorate from barium chlorate and ammonium sulfate then Dessication with sulfuric acid
Kinda regret the barium chlorate still have a lot left

Ammonium carbonate from co2 and ammonium hydroxide in methanol

Made Ammonium chloride once accidentally that's sucked ruined the wood shelf

Just a quick bit of Maths :-

649 posts, zero actual Chemistry.

13 links in the sig, 4 of which are (currently) potential revenue-earners.

Science addicts do OCD things like check each link periodically.

That makes 8,437 links the symboom account can legitimately claim, and prove, exist.

How much do you charge for spamming niche markets ?

Your figures look good !

Edit:

Obviously, every one of those links could be changed with a wave of the magic Profile Edit to publish a zillion shit links in an instant, and the Count could easily shown to be true.

All depends on how many posts the account achieves before being deleted i guess.

No, it's just Words, and that link is this thread.

I did wait a few minutes to see if you'd edit that to link an applicable thread.

While we're at it, your sig contains a potentially $ earning link, plus you got a lot more posts than symboom.

Would you mind linking one of yours instead, please ?

Thanks for the link.

I suppose a break of two years is not too shabby.

Yes, i think i am a troll in the context of modern-day SM.

Better i fade out and let Progress happen as it will.

Well, it worked for me, which is why i mentioned it all those years ago.

Glad you remembered and made use of that highly effective (for some) way to get yourself out of depression.

Half-hearted apologies for being a nuisance and wanting Actual Chemistry all the time, especially to the mods who had to deal with it.

And with that, i'll leave you all to whatever it is you do here these days.

Best wishes to everyone.

Goodbye.

aga, you are definitely a troll regardless of context. You think out of your 7000 posts you really have a better chemistry:drivel record than symboom?

Though you are right about this particular one: it's going to Detritus. But that was inevitable.
