How to predict the detonation velocity of explosives comprised the Phosphorus elements?

1.How to predict the detonation velocity(pressurre) of explosives comprised the Phosphorus elements?

2. How to predict the detonation velocity(pressurre) of the complex (coordination compound) explosives?

Say what? You're going to have to be ALOT more specific.

Besides, predicting detonation velocities is like predicting next months weather; if you're lucky you get it right.

ALOT????
what meaning?

As you know, now there are many method and experiential equation for prediction the detonation velocities for the CHON explosives.
BUT as to the explosives comprised the Phosphorus elements and metal complex.
I havn't any report?
can u tell me some news?

:D
@ Vulture

What you meant sir, is "a lot" - it's two words, not one. If you'd checked to ensure that the
link you provided had the answer you thought it did, you'd have realized that alot is not a word,
merely Internet speak of those that don't know any better.

Fair enough. I *could* be an asshole and nitpick about the fact that 95% of his post has severe grammatical errors and pretend that I don't understand a word of it. Instead I read between the lines and did my best effort to understand.

zjgbit -= what are you SPECIFICALLY TALKING ABOUT? There are things like Armstrong's mixture that is a direct composition utilizing the material directly and there is rather complex synthesis of materials that would utilize phosphorus indirectly. The question: How to predict the detonation velocity of explosives comprised the Phosphorus elements? Is similar to questions regarding the VoD of aluminated energetic materials. There is so much more to the query that needs to be provided.

Metals ?

That could be any number of metal powders mixed with other explosives or oxidizers.
It could also be the azides, fulminates, and styphnates of metals or the tetramine-metal
complexs involving nitrates, chlorates, and perchlorates.

There are many explosives out there with high vods. IIRC, HNIW, HMX, and probably the
hydrazinium azide-hydrazine explosive system are among the most brisant explosives known.

As for measuring vods, this may help:

At first, I am sorry to everyone.
Because of my poor English, I can't expresse my indeed meaning and confuse everhyone.

As you know, now there are many method and experiential equation for prediction the detonation velocities for the CHON explosives. For example, from quantum chemistry calculation.

BUT as to the explosives comprised the Phosphorus elements and metal complex.

explosives comprised the Phosphorus: for example, DAHA, and so on.
metal complex. (LA, lead styphnate, CP primary explosives).

How can we predict the detonation velocities for these compounds from theoretical calculation.

I can't check any reference,
would you like to help me??
