Is this what you're looking for? Not many scientists there; some I want to make money tell me what to buy and where to buy it from then tell me what
to do with it...but there is experience and experiments and teks. Call us when they can't figure it out; they would have told you to shitcan the soak
or Soxhlet too. They're advising doing ethanol very cold probably because of the water in the leaf. Typical stainless vessels are often rated to only
-20C...which should be cold enough when done the right way.
If one wants to do chemistry they may wish to crack open an organic chemistry lab manual, buy the equipment, and start trying.
