Are there any licensed lawyers who are also amateur chemists?


Are there any licensed lawyers who are also amateur chemists? If yes that'd be very good to our community as legal advices (and when someone is being charged!) would be very useful:)

In the Hive days there was a lawyer that frequented that forum but that was interests other than just the chemistry.

There may be someone lurking but noone I am aware of.

Also, this is a global board so what is applicable to the law in Texas may not have any connection with the law in Germany. And it definitely would not be applicable to someone in China. And for that matter the law in Texas is different than the law in Colorado.

Actually the fundametnal 'legal' issues are the same in any part of the world. The non rights of government criminals versus the right of people to use their property as they see fit.

Possibly, but a licensed lawyer would appreciate why they wouldn't want to give advice over the internet, especially when there might be a criminal prosecution involved.

If you're concerned, might be better to make a note of some decent lawyers in your area.
