Recrystallizing 4-piperidone

Db33 - 13-12-2016 at 16:57

I want to recrystallize about 50 grams of 4-piperidone i have. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the best solvent/solvents to use would be. It is in the 4-piperidone monohydrate HCL form.

Ever heard of doing a literature search? This one is easy.

Between this and the inert gas thread, it would seem you are trying to make a fentanyl derivative.
This forum is not a guide to drug cookery and no-one wants to spoonfeed you information about drug synths. Not only is that in no way helpful to the home science or the advancement of it, it is also painting a bad picture of home science in general and sciencemadness.

Thread reported.

Oh, and not to mention you have the other ingredient for a fentanyl derivative(Propionyl chloride) http://www.sciencemadness.org/talk/viewthread.php?tid=71041
AND you were recently detritused for asking to be spoonfed morphine chemistry.

You are clearly an opiate cook and or opiate addict and belong in a rehab facility not on sciencemadness.
