VLS synthesis of nanowires

Hey, long time follower, first time poster here,

Just wondering does anybody have any links to good references on how Vapor-Liquid-Solid (VLS) synthesis of nanowires works, alot of what i can find on the net refers to VLS being used, but not actually how it works.

Start with the Wiki entry, and their references. Also might pick up a copy of Nanowires and Nanobelts: Materials, Properties and Devices: Volume 1 by Zhong Lin Wang.
