Nitrated sugars 2!


i saw a post made be madscientist , this post was about nitrating sugar so i re made a similar post because i fail for mi 12 time with about 25dollars deboursed.

this is my last tri

reagent
20g table sugar
40g ammonium nitrate
44g sulfuric acid

/so all the appqaratus if not specified are a 0degree C.
i take the amonium nitrate and disolve it in the sulfuric acid it was very long at 0degree c.
i ad the 20g of sugar and i continu to mix, it go like a sirup/melass of small grain of sugar , i mixed for 1hours and i wait , the slury is now yellow. i ad small drop of sulfuric acid and no stiky mass formed , wath is wrong?

so now after the nigth at -20 the substanse is now green with nitrogen oxide , there is no stiky mass.
