molsieves, powder or pellet?

I can get molsieve powder or the bigger grains. Those grains are the ones I am used to, but I see the powder is cheaper. It seems like a quicker medium. Anyone know the difference?

I think the pellets are an advantage if you have a continuous flow of liquid or gas to be dried, i.e., thye provide low pressure drop. However, if you are just batch drying some liquid and then can remove the liquid by decanting or filtering then I would think the powder should work well. This is just my opinion, can't say from experience here.
