Bisulfite in acidic medium

Is it possible to use a sodium bisulfite solution to destroy peracid in very (>60%) H2SO4? WIll the sulfite react preferably with the sulfuric acid or the peracid (H2SO5, caro's acid)?
And, to be sure, the sulfite wouldn't react with ketones to form bisulfitic adduct in those conditions, no?
Thank you for any input
