Is there anyone from Eidsborg, Norway?


I am hoping some kind sole could collect me a couple of small sample of the natural whetstone from the quarry there. Can post some swaps or come to other arrangement. TIA from Australia

Eidsborg whetstones


From a cursory google, it looks like Eidsborg is a fairly small place. Whetstones haven't been exported from there since 1950. What about whetstones from Eidsborg in particular interests you?

I collect rocks minerals microminerals etc. it is a curiosity piece. the quarry is open to the public and there is literally tonnes of the material lying around.

Significant from a social/historical context rather than from a geological perspective.
