Time for an upgade?
For the longest time I couldn't get this site to work on chrome. I've finally switched to brave and decided to try this site again. While it works
now, I had to turn off shields first. It makes me feel... exposed

Way past time for an upgrade. There are a few threads on it around here. I think there were some major hiccups and since this isn't some kind of pay
to play site the funds / profit just wasn't there to try to justify the time it would take to get things ported over. Figure we're just costing on to
the final failure of the software infrastructure.

It's preserving the data that costs money, but the site itself is nothing. That begs the question, how much data we talking about here? I just send a
screenshot of a private message from 2011 to an old member. lol. But that data had 0 value to me personally because I'm just an amateur. Don't mean
same goes for everybody else on here though.

It might be best to title a thread What Happened to Quicksilver and give it a post for higher visibility. He was a mod I think and there is a hidden
forum for mods only, there is a chance he discusses his leaving the forum somewhere beyond your eyes. Or perhaps in a U2U with a friend (though
considering the time that has passed, said friend is likely gone too). I remember his posts, certainly a great contributor then -Poof- like so many
others.
I used to have hours long conversations with Chemoleo on ICQ for years but then one day we just stopped talking. Lots of people gone that I used to
talk to here but I plan to stick around till someone turns out the lights.
