Fillers
This is probably impractical but I was wondering if I add a lot of filler to an ap compostion, so much that it would be insensitive to heat and
friction, would it be possible to detonate this compostion with a blasting cap?

actually, yes
Apparently acetone peroxide mixed with enough ammonium nitrate yields a cap-sensitive explosive mixture that will not detonate from ordinary shock or
mere flame. This mix is usually called APAN and it has been covered to death elsewhere (such as on the E&W Forum). Maybe the folks at Xinventions
could discuss it with you. You might even find some hits if you search here with that term. But don't ask about it here, please, since it's
not at all exotic and has little to do with chemistry.
