i was wondering what the properties of an aryl polyester based on benzene 1,4 dimethanol and terepthallic acid might be. would it be stronger with a higher melting point that conventional polyesters?

What's up with your recent rash of polymer posts? Instead of asking such simply answered questions on the forum, why not just pick up a good polymer text? I suggest Polymer Chemistry, The Basic Concepts by Paul C. Hiemenz.

It is available as a Rapidshare download. To find links, try this search string on Google:
"Polymer Chemistry, The Basic Concepts" Hiemenz PDF OR DJVU OR ZIP OR RAR "rapidshare.com/files"
