Looking to buy a Buchi Rotavapor M Condensor
I have recently bought off Stateofhack a Buchi Rotovapor M however it did not come with the condensor.
Has anybody got one they are willing to sell?
Alternativly does anybody know where i could buy one?
I am located in London, England.

I looked into this and spoke to Buchi rep regards the M series, they couldn't even locate me a manual, so I doubt the glassware is available. If I
recall correctly the M series was a micro series designed for 50mL flasks or so, and had unique glassware. Buchi glassware is expensive at the best of
times, let alone when you have to find glassware for a model that's no longer supported.

Luckily I dont have to find my glassware. The seals that are needed bewteen the screw joints are probably just as hard to find, although mine came
with spares so its all gravy. And panziandi - the distilling flask is 250ml, as is the recieving flask. I have some pictures around here somewhere...

Wow panziandi didnt insult me... we are making progress 
@Panziandi - I emailed Buchi and they said they could aquire me one. so if all else fails i go with that but like you say it will be expencive.
How big is your R-series? 250ml is good enough for me, i only ever work on 10g scale ish, but i agree the waterbath seemed smaller than i expected!
@DJF90- have you had any probelms with your model? i.e. is it reliable? how long have you had yours for?
What are the seals you mention? i must look into this aswell obviously 
edit; the ground glass on the rotovap is 14/23 size so surly a connector can be attached to connect it to any size flask (providing you use a larger
water bath.)

This is what Buchi sent me. I am not sure out of that what i need to buy so Stateofhack, if you read this, please could you tell me if it has all of
the above (exept the condensor of course).

R-series is standard size in an undergrad organic lab, but you wouldnt know about that. The waterbath happily accomodates the 250ml florence flask,
and I have no doubts that even a 500ml flask could be used. The model comes with a B14 connector also to enable use of quickfit flasks. As I said
upthread its BNIB, I only assembled it to check I wasnt missing anything, and I didnt try it as a) theres no need to - I could see its brand new and
b) I couldnt be bothered to fit plugs to it.

Yes they had scans on the bits, but the woman I spoke to seemed to think that having any spares would be extremely unlikely seeing as the model is
something like 25 years old (perhaps older!). The spares aren't listed on the Buchi site nor do any of the regular traders of Buchi list the M-series
parts. Of course they probably do have spares for engineers but I wouldn't hold my breath. BTW if you only have the motor and bath you will need ALL
the glassware, seals, gaskets, and fittings.

I seem to remember it being a 1970's-80's model. I cant remember what year production commenced or ceased, but its a fair assumption that the parts
aren't lying about any more. If anything you could have one custom made, but I would expect you could get a new rotovap for that. There was a Bibby
one on Ebay for £199.99 BIN that came with condensor but no waterbath. You're right in saying that Picric-A needs the rest of the glass and the
gaskets, the joint connector(s) and also possibly also a new seal, depending on how used the rotovap is. Mine came with a few spares but theres no way
on earth I will part with them.

I think the only glassware i need is the condensor and two flasks but as you can see in the outline pics i posted the condensor looks like ti doesnt
have the vaccum fitting so im stuck on that...

Oh ok, well you wont be seeing my other personnalities for a while, as my contact plant. I am back at school now, so 6 weeks till im home again then i can post everything.
Why are you so impatient, i cant remember who but someone else posted pics on their attempt at oxidising SO2 using V2O5 and theirs looks much better
than myn. Myn is just a SS pipe (sulphur burner) with a glass tube comming off wound in NC to heat it to the correct temp with the cat inside followed
by 3 conc H2SO4 absorbers.
@DJF90 - cool i will try, the problem is the orgional doc., is too big so i had to resize it.

I think Entropy's point is that you're claims concerning the contact process plant are bullshit. Fleaker was the "other guy" doing this project IIRC,
and he found it hard to get respectable yields, so we hardly doubt you, a 14 year old child (or is that just labxyz? I suspect you arent much older
than that otherwise) could rival the industrial yields. To think you had me fooled for a minute is embarassing.
