China Suppliers
Doing some cursory searches on Allibaba and related sites, it seems there are several items/materials available that might be otherwise hard to
obtain, for whatever reason. Most of the items have large minimum orders, but some are much smaller. Has anyone had any luck obtaining chemicals
this way? I am curious. I assume there are drawbacks.

There are dozens of threads on this. I suggest you do a search to get good information.
The consensus is generally positive for most chems and equipment. but sometimes lower prices are low for a reason.

It seems, that you know about China suppliers more, than everyone else. You can create list what is possible buy as one piece or 100g, 500g, 1Kg. And
hang here. Thanks for everyone's.........LL

I did look around some but didn't find as much about it as I thought, given the possibilities. I'll try it and report back.

i tried to buy from alibaba a few times, but even if i needed a small quantity of something shipping costs were around 100$, convenient only for big
bulk purchases

I have same opinion. The China is too far for any reklamation. And shipping for one a piece is tragical expensive.

I did find one supplier listing WFNA, 500 ml for reasonable price, but they didn't respond to my inquiry yet.

I have bought some hydroxy-terminated PDMS for silly-putty synthesis, and it arrived without any issues. I have also bought some machinery related
stuff that was delivered as expected.

China can be very good. You just have to shop around for the right supplier. Do your research. And. Yes.
