Ti4O7 anode

hi!!

i was thinking about Ti4O7 plated on ti rod

the processe i was thinking: take very pur ti rod and oxidise it in sulfuric acid electrochemicaly , take a test tube with a glass stopper with 2 hole one hole with H2 intry and another with escaping H2O , the botom of the test tube with some tin or lead with the uncoated place of the rod will be droped , the anode will be heated at 1000 degree c for 1 hour with H2 flow and than electrolised in brine.

thanks!

my reference is to big to be posted so i will try anoter time.

I doubt it could work, using Ti4O7 as anode will most probably oxidize it to (insulator) TiO2.
something like: Ti4O7 + H2O => 4TiO2 + 2H+ + 2e-
