I think sreetips missed the rest of his post.
His latest video on silver purification is a good one. (At least the first half which I have watched.)
I am no expert, but I think the white precipitate that had you puzzled is Ag2SO4. It does not dissolve well in water and it makes sense that it would
precipitate out with water addition.
