Making supercritical carbon dioxide extractor at home?
Can you make supercritical carbon dioxide extractor by just compressing CO2 at 1,070 PSI and keep the temperature 31 Celsius in a gas cylinder
if can't what is the other easiest way to make supercritical CO2 extractor at home?
also i have a cylinder that is max pressure is 1450 psi

All you need is to heat a bottle containing liquid CO2 to above 31°C. Like this kit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxO9izpA6LI
Be aware that pressurized bottles have a maximum service temperature. Exceeding this can be problematic. Like, you know, kaboom.
While the idea is simple and clever, I do wonder how efficient it really is. 5x20lbs of CO2 for 1lbs of sample doesn't sound that impressing. I would
expect the performance to increase with temperature and density, so this would be "entry level SCX".
One thing I haven't really figured out yet is whether or not the critical point causes any abrupt changes in properties. I have always thought of it
as a convergence phenomena, the point where both phases behaves the same.

Umm, may I suggest butane in a WELL ventilated area? Pretty sure what you are after, and butane works very well, but Ford forbid you do it in an
enclosed area.
