POCl3 vs SOCl2 safety

How would you rate the danger / difficulty of working with POCl3 in comparison with SOCl2.

SOCl2 can be worked with without a hood if great care is taken as to procedure and handling (practical experience), but the Threshold Limit Value (time weighted average), is an order of magnitude lower for POCl3. That said the vapor pressure for SOCl2 at 20C is 3x that of POCl3.

I haven't had the pleasure of working with POCl3 but I've heard there are issues during the hydrolysis, especially if you try to control it with temperature which can complicate the workup/disposal depending on your scale.
