tying up the ftp

Hello all,

say am I or others tying up the ftp when down loading large files like Corel, etc..?????

I hate doing so if I am! What's the best solution if any!?

There was a surge in people downloading said file, but I don't mind. Just means others have to get their files a little slower.

I'm open to alternatives.
