Hydride patents

You can usually find calcium hydride H2 generators on Ebay. Also, I found a company that sells them, too. It looks like military surplus. Here's some interesting patents found while searching for calcium hydride uses and reactions:

US2334211 CaH2 gas generator
US2463862 CaH2 for H2 balloons
US2463863 CaH2 for H2 balloons

US2550985 calcium aluminum hydride from CaH2 and AlCl3

Doing a forward search on US2550985 I found US3959454 which discusses German patent 1070149 and German patent 1282615. German patent 1070149 discusses making sodium aluminum hydride with NaH suspended in paraffin oil and AlCl3 etherate. German patent 1282615 discusses the use of Al dispersion when making metal aluminum hydrides. For the German patent 1282615 use DE1282615 for espacenet. I tried DE1070149 and DT1070149 for the other patent, but nothing comes up for either one. I wonder if its possible to make calcium aluminum hydride from CaH2 and aluminum powder. Maybe if the two are heated together it will produce calcium aluminum hydride. The melting point of aluminum is about 660 degrees C.
