ill check for the aphid and where i live there are no wine/beer making stores or chinese markets i wish there was most sell alot of organic acid.

I haven't a clue if it would work, but you might try anhydrous Na2CO3 made by heating baking soda.

Check for places that sell water treatment kits. Often they stock high grade (food grade?) potassium carbonate for water softeners.
