Synthesis of 2-amino-4-methylfenol from toluene

I was thinking about a method to obtain 2-amino-4-methylfenol from toluene. I've come up with this procedure. I don't know if it's correct or possible. But here it is:

toluene ---HONO2/H2SO4---> o-nitrotoluene + p-nitrotoluene + H2O
p-nitrotoluene ---reduction 6[H](Fe+HCl)---> p-toluidine + 2H2O
p-toluidine ---HONO+HCl/0-5*C---> p-methylbenzene diazonium chloride
p-methylbenzene diazonium chloride ---H2O/50*C---> p-crezol + N2 + HCl
p-crezol ---HONO2/H2SO4---> 2-nitro-4-methylfenol
2-nitro-4-methylfenol ---6[H](Fe+HCl)---> 2-amino-4-methylfenol + 2H2O

What do you think? :)
