uses for trioxane
i recently got some trioxane fuel tabs but im not sure what to use them for there military surplus they dont have anything about purity on them but
the only chemical name on them is trioxane. i was thinking making formaldehyde but i cant find much information on that except that it can be acid
catalysed. my use for the formaldehyde would probably be leading ammonia into it to make hexamine unless theres an easier way to go from trioxane to
hexamine?

sorry for the double post but i took some out of the package and they are bright blue so dyed heavily they appear to have some kind of(heavily
corroded) film surrounding them and one of the two i took out had large clear crystals growing from the sides.
