Small crack in retort?

I have a 250ml distillation retort and I was washing it recently and noticed it had a small crack 2 inches in length. Is it still safe to boil things in, or is there a risk it will shatter and spill every (really bad thing!)?

Get an oxygen/propane torch and "melt it back".

Elseway it could easily crack when you will heat it up.

I have a blog where I post my pictures from my work: http://labphoto.tumblr.com/

Surround it with Kaowool while it cools.
