determination of benzoic acid in food

i'm trying to determine benzoic acid as preservative in liquid food product. i'm used saturated salt solution to dissolve the sample and then adjust the ph toward acidity. then i extract the benzoic acid (if present in the sample) by ether. then the concentration was determine by UV spectrophotometer.

so, i'm looking for other methods to determine the present benzoic acid in order to compare the data...so any suggestion of detail method??
if have any web site that provided the information also welcome ...:D

thanks....for help!;)
