Can we make Sodium by electrolysis of aquaeous Sodium Chloride?
With increased current density at cathode we would shoot more electrons per same amount of available ions in time. Eventually we would shoot much more electrons than Na would release in contact with air or water. Rate of reduction would be faster than rate of oxidation of Na with water.
Or at least Al, because it is eaiser. If we use Cu cathode we would have indicator because Al and Cu are not the same color.

Also in this way we would make Ozone.

Nitrogen to Nitrate.

Nitrogen to Ammonia.

Sulfate to SO2 or S.

All in the presence of water.

Sodium is prepared by reaction in the downs cell.
