Microencapsulation

Okay, so I am doing a science project for school, and I am supposed to be making a thermochromic material that is black at lower temperatures and white at higher temperatures for cooling and warming purposes. What I am a bit worried about is the microencapsulation process. I am planning to use Poly(methyl methacrylate) as the coating although, I'm unsure if this is the best material. I will also be using the microencapsulation method called suspension polymerization, but I how should I prevent it from becoming one solid mass? Thank you for your input.
