Bio-Ethanol - Al-Hg ?

Hi everyone .

Where i live i have noticed a store selling Bio-Ethanol at quite a good price and i would like to know is this ok to use in a Al-Hg nitrostyrene reduction ?

I suspect it contains pyridine and some methanol but this is just my guess would the pyridine interfere with the reaction or what is the best way to purify it if this is necessary for the reaction to proceed as expected thanks everyone .

Isopropyl Alcohol? What do you mean?
Bio Ethanol doesn't have Isopropyl Alcohol, AFAIK.

Do I detect the odor of a sympathomimetic phenethylamine? That's your first question on the forum? Really?!

Better keep your head down, son. These are dangerous times.
