Looking for used ph/temp meter
I'm looking to buy a digital ph/temperature meter and was wondering if anyone here might have a used one they wouldn't mind parting with cheaply -
definitely under $100. I've done some searching online and can't seem to find one that has all of the features/parameters I'm looking for with a small
price tag. Nothing fancy or overly complicated; I would just like to combine these things: ph (standard range of 0 to 14 is fine), temperature with a
range of say -30 or -40 degrees F to at least 400F, and a detachable probe (not a pen type). I would prefer a handheld but am not married to that
requirement; a small, moveable, bench model would be ok. It doesn't have to be waterproof either, except for the probe of course. If I were willing to
restrict the temp range to a max of 200F or so it would be no problem - new models are all over the place for less than $50 or $60. But combo models
in that price range w/higher temp ranges are elusive. I could buy a seperate high temp meter for cheap like these:

Any offers or suggestions?

A digital oven thermometer will work for the temperature, and is relatively cheap ($10-20). As for pH meters, the digital ones are quite expensive. I
wish you luck.
A combination of the two? Never seen it.

You could buy a used PH meter, this would be much cheaper that a new one and would probably work fine. I've seen PH meters with a built in
thermocouple, I think Fisher has one, but Fisher meters and probes are very expencive.

Aga, the arduino ph meter project looks pretty interesting but I've never messed with any arduino projects and am not currently well versed enough in
electronics to pull this off. Nor do I have time to become so at the moment. Maybe one day. For now I will have to purchase one - probably used. They
certainly exist w/the requirements I listed but the prices go way up once the temp range goes above about 200F for some reason.
I presume jammit's meets my requirements but I'm still awaiting more info.
Anyone else have one?

I got pH probe and arduino touch screen on order.
probe = $9
touch screen= $6
cheapest arduino uno = $9
If i get anywhere with a pH meter, i'll post the HowTo.
