Paraffin wax and used engine oil

I do not understand the mechanisms at play but I have witnessed, via Youtube:P that adding paraffin wax to used engine oil causes it to form into a solid mass, whether in an aqueous solution or alone. What would be the most effective method of reclaiming the two?

Preface: I work for a shop who accumulates massive amounts of spent fluids. Mostly used engine oils, Coolants blends , And fuel/diesel. The removal process is unique, The petroleum is desired, And they pay descent for it. The ethylene/propylene based fluids have a high removal fee.
Coolant with oil in it raises the removal fee, hence my interest in the paraffin wax.
Any practical ideas on purifying, distilling , Or reusing these liquids?
Thanks:D
