DEA from MEA ??
Hi everyone. I'm not sure how I found this board but I've been reading threads for almost two weeks and I think I'm going to defect
from a.d.c and the like. Now, I'm just a chemhack as it were but I'm learning more everyday and I start work on my O-chem degree this fall.
I have decent to good lab technique but I'm severely lacking in the theory department. Meaning, I may ask some dumb questions but not too often.
I found the hydrazine thread most fascinating. And that'll give you a clue where my main interests lie at the moment. So, umm... Nice to meet you
all and here's my question.
Suppose one had access to 55gal. drums of ethylamine. Would it be possible to convert it to Diethylamine.
Suppose also that similar drums of {Tri}{Di}methylethanolamine were avilablie.
Can anything useful be had from these? I'm not all that interest in Methylamine but if there's an easy route to it from these plentiful
sources (to me) then I may or may not be interested in it sometime in the future.
