Measurements for nano particle growth

The paper I'm currently reading mentions [HAuCl4]=50 mgmL^-1

What does this even mean? Here's another larger excerpt

"The initial concentrations of HAuCl4 and a-d-glucose
were 50 mgmL1 and 0.2 m, respectively, and the ultrasound
irradiation time was 1 h. The geometrical configuration of the
nanobelts is clearly displayed in the SEM images"

Again
[HAuCl4]=50 mgmL1
, [a-d-glucose]=0.2
m, ultrasound time=1 h

It means the concentration of chloroauric acid is 50 mg/ml.

The 2M means a concentration of 2 molar, as in 2 moles of glucose per litre.

If you don't know what the concentrations mean... I doubt you can use HAuCl4.
