Advice on Books
Hi,
Yes I have asked a similar question before but bare with me here.......
I have Vogel and Fischer etc (I got that lucky ebay score if you remember), I have some uk GCSE books (we dont study GCSE up here in Scotland), what I
am looking for is recommendations for books on OC that bridge the gap from very very basic what is Organic Chemistry to Vogel et al.
I am not sure if there are any in the middle books but I am finding OC a bit of a struggle, what really dosnt help is a book will show symbols and
connections between bonds one way and yet other (mainly newer) books show it in a way I cant start to get my head around.
I would really appreciate some help with this and recommendations.
I also have another question thats a bit out there so will ask later

Back in the first chemistry discipline I had, they used "Chemistry, the Central Science" from Brown. It has basic inorganic, organic, and I think some
quantum chemistry concepts. I think we studied it in less then a semester, next discipline in the course was Organic Chemistry with Solomons' book, so
it might be the type of book you want.

James zubricks organic chem lab survival beats them all...and also kings chemistry survival guide...trust me...best for beginners. ..

Dude all you need is a toorentfile wich you should know how to get. Download the file and you can print your own fresh copy...trust me, when it comes
to handling glassware and techniques this is the book!

I do torrent PDF's for laptop use etc but I am a book freak, I love a real book and live near a place called Wigtown which is the worlds book capital
(kind of), anyway I have loads of sources for good price secondhand books. I would get the PDF but still keep looking for a cheap second hand real
book (its a me thing). Thanks for the titles I have found a couple of them on PDF and yes they are what I am after!
