Oxime storage


Is it possible to store oximes for some days/weeks in the fridge/freezer without excessive decomposition?

When sufficiently pure generally oximes can be stored at RT for long time without showing signs of decomposition.

(at least in my experience)

I have a small quantity of veratraldoxime on my shelves for slightly more than a year now and it still is fine.

My bottle of benzaldehyde-oxime doesn't even say anything about store at such-and-such T°C.

Maybe if you want to preserve the less stable stereoisomer, keep it in the freezer, but I have a feeling that you don't care. ;)
