Local Chemical suppliers

Hey guys
I wasn't sure which forum is suitable for this discussion, so I'm posting it here..

I see many people paying much higher price for chemicals online
So i just wanted to suggest first Googling 'local chemical suppliers'
I found one in my town here in India.
I explained my interests and intentions with chemicals and the owner of that chemical agency now knows me very well
So he sells me chemicals with minimal profit margins

As a case in point, he sold me 500 ml industry grade 98% Sulfuric acid in 20 Rupees (30 US cents) which is a ridiculously good deal
This goes the same for most of my chemical purchases

You know, just something to think about...
I'm not discouraging online shopping whatsoever here..
Just sharing something that can help solving a big problem a lot of amateurs face - budget limitations.

Do try to search a local chemical corporation outlet nearby...

I think the fact that you live in India explains the cheap chemical prices. (And probably larger availability of chemicals in general)

This may be because the U.S. and other countries' "chemical recycling programs" involve shipping them off to India to be processed in very poor areas for next to no cost.
