Gold Recovery Circuit Card Fingers Aqua Regia - VIDEO
In this experiment I use aqua regia to dissolve EVERYTHING off of trimmed PC circuit card fingers.
Of particular interest and in play in this experiment is the reactivity series of metals from the periodic table.
As the gold dissolves, any base metals present will IMMEDIATELY "cement" out the gold in the form of metalic gold powder as fast as the gold
dissolves.
Its baffeling to see that much aqua regia put on such a small amount of gold, and then come up with no gold in solution - because it cements out as
fast as it dissolves.
