Hi All

I need to get rid of the impurity that is the acid ethyl oxalate,because the product dissolves in water,I can not wash by K2CO3 aqueous solution.

What is the solubility of the calcium salt of ethyl oxalate? Or maybe you could precipiate the Ba salt?

How would crashing in icecold ethanol do? Is there an inorganic solvent your product might dissolve in?
