HCl in diethyl ether


How can I prepare 1M HCl in diethyl ether complex. I would be very appreciate if anyone wuld help me.

Do you want the dry complex? In that case, bubble HCl gas (made by adding NaCl to H2SO4 and gentle heating) through ether. Making the concentration exactly 1 M can be done by making a higher concentration, determine its concentration by means of acid/base titration and dilute accordingly with more ether.

If you want to make the complex, dissolved in HCl, then simply add ether to the acid. The ether quickly dissolves in the acid, much better than it does in water.
