photoreduction of imines


I need help. I'm trying to do a photo reduction on a imine to amine and have no clue on how to do it. please help

So you want us to go do the essential reading for you? It's not like I do this every day.

You have no other ability to reduce than using light? I would suggest you do something else with your imine if that is the case.

Which imine do you have in mind?

I don't really wanna spoonfeed the research/answers to you, but I did find a couple of abstracts that mention photoreductions of imines in alcohols, and RSC abstract that said such reduction occurred at 170-180 nm and 230-260 nm wavelengths.

But really, if you simply google your question (photoreduction of imines), there are a lot of immediate results, despite the fact that many are only abstracts. Just please look things up first and try to contribute a bit to the question itself before asking something of this nature.
