Why? At polymerization catalyst concentrations it is cheap to buy, of known concentration, and without the risk of making 'bangs'. The concentration is important, I saw a bucket of fiberglass resin that gelled way to fast then start fuming and crackling because two people each added the correct amount of catalyst. Nothing like small fragments of hot, sticky plastic flying about to make life interesting.
