Acid hydrolysis, invertase maybe? It depends what you mean by decomposing.

Firstly, this thread belongs to beginings. Secondly, you should express your question more precisely.

Decomposed sugar recipe:
You will need a pot, a stove, and of course, sugar. Optionally you can add some water.
Add the sugar to your pot, and place it on the stove, if you want you can a small amount of water (I dont exactly know why some people do this when car... decomposing sugar)
When the sugar starts melting, and getting a beautiful amber like color, you can pour it onto a piece of tracing paper, and you finished your tasty sugar decomposition!
To clean the pot I recommend using hot water, and letting the water dissolve the decomposed sugar for some time.

Eat it and your body will decompose it to CO2 :D.
(WARNING: this reaction is exothermic).

it is a very effective method of decomposing sugar, and you get a good solvent while at it!

Dissolves critical thinking down to oils! very use full!

Depends what kind of decomposition...
Do you want to turn saccharose into fructose and glucose, caramel or charred mass/mess?
